Flypoint 3D Browser

Flypoint 3D Browser is in the final stage of development. Some algorithms of the geometric kernel were written 27 years ago. The active phase of creating the browser began 7 years ago, when it’s foundation, based on several successful science-intensive projects, had already been prepared

If you watch the videos posted on this site, you will see that the product is almost ready. We actively use Flypoint to prepare media materials, and do it with great pleasure! There is no desire to return to HTML after the possibilities given by FLYP. There is also no desire to use any other product to prepare a 3D scene. And if we talk about flexibility, usability, interactivity, and animation capabilities, then Flypoint browser simply has no equals. There is no doubt that our technology has succeeded

You can use the Flypoint 3D Browser to create animated 3D presentations

IT professionals understand that a serious technology must have foundation properties for something new, which is not at all obvious yet. We released Flypoint Parametrica on the foundation of our browser. At the moment, this product is used to optimize the shapes of propellers – some of the most complex geometric objects. Only on our foundation it became possible to solve this extremely demanded by the industry task. And this is only the first attempt to unlock the potential of Flypoint technologies! We have no doubt that we are capable of giving designers the tools to create new, incredible and amazing things that they will present to the world. Our biggest dream is to see these things!

So, we answered three questions:

Is the algorithmic foundation reliable? Yes, very!

Is FLYP technology sustainable? Absolutely!

Does Flypoint have the potential? Yes, great!

To what extent will this technology be available? HTML browsers spread freely, we are all used to good, so Flypoint 3D Browser will be available for download freely. Our technologies will have the highest possible availability!

Let’s compare components of HTML and FLYP, using the figure and going from the bottom upwards:

Text and XML Editors Both languages are based on XML, and for working with them it is possible to use any text- or XML editor. Flypoint 3D Browser is free, which makes FLYP technology as accessible as possible, along with HTML
Text In HTML the main object is text, whereas in FLYP text has a minimum priority. A 3D rendering system will not be able to compete with conventional graphics in terms of the volume and quality of the text display. In turn, the HTML standard does not support 3D. Thus, HTML and FLYP do not compete, but complement each other. The Flypoint browser supports links to HTML pages using the default browser on your computer to open them
2D Graphics FLYP does not only support the SVG graphics functionality (HTML5), but also extends it significantly. However, the semantics of FLYP differs from SVG - there are even differences at such a fundamental level as the coordinate system. This is due to the fact that FLYP offers the user the functions of a geometric modeling kernel, which in many cases makes it possible to describe geometry much easier than in SVG
Interactivity From the figure it follows that in Flypoint 3D Browser interactivity plays a very big role, and it is comparable to the role played by text in ordinary HTML browsers. Interactivity, in this case, means the possibilities of user input and the ability of objects to respond to these actions. In order to realize the amazing interactive features of the Flypoint 3D Browser, you need to see it in action. For example, FLYP allows you to write familiar 3D games without programming!
3D Graphics Flypoint supports a wide range of 3D objects - surfaces, bodies, meshes. These are familiar objects that you can easily get started with right away. Each of such objects allows you to animate its parameters without limitations, which brings the 3D Browser to the category of unique products
Parametric Elements Virtual reality consists of a large number of elements. For example, several buildings can be linked to a site on the surface of the earth, and, in their turn, consist of storeys. Each storey consists of elements such as walls, columns, etc. The wall, in turn, can consist of several representations, inside which there are objects of 2D and 3D graphics. You can very easily and naturally describe this virtual reality using FLYP. Moreover, each such element can be specifically parameterized for future use and contain any additional information about itself
Engeneering Virtual reality takes on a special meaning if one can move elements out of it into the material world. Designing and manufacturing a product is essentially this process. If 3D Browser allows you to move into virtual reality, then Flypoint Parametrica allows you to materialize it also, participating in different stages of product creation. For example, to optimize supercomplex objects such as ship propellers, Parametrica is currently an indispensable program. This fact speaks for the quality of the geometric modeling kernel, Flypoint algorithms and the capabilities of the FLYP language. These technologies have made it possible to take one of the highest peaks of engineering art!

What if the Internet of the future is a 3D reality that can be accessed through a regular browser?

What if this worldwide virtual reality is alive, active and without boundaries?

What if such a reality would be described by a language that is more simple and understandable than HTML?

What if the browser would be free and have a smaller size than a regular photo?

What if it is possible to place their three-dimensional counterpart in parallel with the existing web pages?

What if these web pages would be even smaller and faster than now?
